Fall is the perfect time of year to spend with your family. From picking the perfect pumpkin to dressing up on Halloween, there’s plenty for you to do this season. Here’s a look at some of the best local activities for kids and adults living in Breinigsville and nearby areas.

One of the most popular places to be this fall is Grim’s Orchard & Family Farms. There is so much going on during this time of year on the farm, as they continually offer activities of visitors of all ages. Whether it’s your first time to Grim’s or you have been coming your entire life, join in on the local fun that happens at this family owned farm.

During the fall, Grim’s offers a host of activities. Come early in the season and you can pick your own pumpkin and apples. When everyone compliments you on your jack-o’-lantern or you apple pie this year, you can tell them the special story that goes behind it.

In addition, the Grim’s Orchard Fall Festival opens on September 19th and runs through October 31. This is the best way to spend your fall evenings in Breinigsville.

Fall Classic 50 Mile Bike Ride

This is the fifth year that the Bicycling Fall Classic will take place in Pennsylvania, as riders of all levels are invited to come take part. Once you lace up your shoes and put on your helmet, you’ll hop on a course that takes you throughout the sprawling back roads of Pennsylvania. This bike ride is growing in popularity in Lehigh Valley, and this year expects to represent the biggest showing to date. Take part in an instant classic right here in Lehigh Valley with the Bicycling Fall Classic.

Concerts & Other Live Shows

Take it easy this fall by taking in some of your favorite bands and musicians. Owl City will be playing at the Chameleon Club on October 13th, as well the Bouncing Souls four days later on the 17th.  Comedian Ralphie May will be at the Santander Performing Arts Center on October 18th, and Willie Nelson will also be at Santander on October 17th. There’s plenty to do, so get your tickets today for any of the exciting events coming to Pennsylvania.

Truck Or Treat

Get the kids in their Halloween costumes and head to nearby Allentown to take part in Truck or Treat. This event is held at the America on Wheels Museum, so your kids can learn something new while they are there. The Truck or Treat event includes decorating treat bags, which your kids can use to collect candy on Halloween. It’s just as educational as it is fun at the Truck or Treat at American on Wheels Museum.
